Allright, mainly as an example to Zodiac i made a little audio file myself ... not saying Zodiac should do the same, but it illustrates the 'ambient' sounds a bit ... hope you all like it, any comments are welcome, but i think its perfect like this, and i might even have it as my 2e submission ^^ ... Trick or Treat

I'm only gonna try to CnC the visual stuff because it's one I am most familiar with. I write but I am no good at it (esp with English being my second language) and I am not an avid reader for the most part so my experience in the matter is solely from RPs and Forum RPs =S

If you don't see your name in the list and you have a progress gallery in the front page (visual piece), it means I have no CnC for you and your entry is looking perfect for me so far

Tzu - liking it so far. I just notice a little jaggedness on the silver stuff but it's barely noticeable so it's no biggie (Feel free to ignore this if it's hard to fix because I am just being nitpicky and I really doubt it's gonna be a problem). If that's intentional and then ignore this

Zacchius - Love the details. There's something looking a little flat on the torso though but I can't pinpoint it atm (probably just me). Also his left hand (the one on the right side from our perspective) seems a little small but other than that, it's looking great.

Arvida - Love the concept. I think the Dragon's (?) head could be a little bigger or moved forward a little bit though.

Usk - Love the pose but if it's supposed to be them fighting, I don't think the pumpkin head should be facing that way..unless it's an already severed head (*violent thoughts*) then that looks fine . Maybe a pained/sad look on the pumpkin if you want to put humor in it (if it's a severed head or he got hit by the scythe)

Valor - I remember drawing in MS Paint and I can never come up with something like this lol (I'd be lucky to be able to draw a p umpkin). It certainly is a fun piece, I am juswt not sure what the guy on the center is doing. Is he pointing at the camera?

Hope those helped!

Uploaded another progress pic in my gallery. I changed the pose and I need help with the anatomy so please CnC away. If you can't tell that she's sitting down then uhm..yeah that's definitely something that needs to be fixed XD

I don't think it will be the traditional GW spirit. More of a blue skeleton surrounded by mist.

Pic taken with my DSLR in poor lighting circumstances, hence the funky light and colours. It sure is fun as heck to draw on black paper this time!

Thanks for your suggestions ,

@ ArghoreI already changed the perspective of the scythe becouse it was pointing to the wrong side, i didnt notice that before, thank you :9.

@Tzu: about ur recommendation i tried to made another position, using the both hands on the scythe but i think i will keep doing the drawing with the one i showed before becouse I want to it to be like an "Elegant hit" not a "full strenght attack" I mean... the derv is not angry with the pumpkin , hes just cutting them for fun . But if u have a good idea of how to look it elegant and strong in a good convination i will really like to hear it .

@Ravenhawk actually the pumpkin is facing that way ... originally becouse i was thinking on a player with a pumpking head that has just get his head blown of... but now i think the derv is just hitting pumpkins for fun.. not fighting a pumpking but i will see how this goes and then decide. Btw i really liked ur new pose, the anatomy its very precise, keep updating it

Just a side note; I opened my progress gallery here. I'll try to update it every time I get something new added on the pic.

Some fairly dull progress from me, I have a lot more but it's mostly the same: fake leather decorated with silver lines. I almost finished the front part of the torso today, made a shoulder-guard and some more bits. Zzz...

I think this is one of those things which looks interesting when it all comes together, with all the belts and straps and whatnot. Right now all the bits look very same-y and boring. Still needs weathering. Won't get my proper camera back before ~26th of september. my webcam is hilariously useless.

I was wondering if I could get some opinions on the fur rim around Eir's neck...
In the concept art it looks grey, and very thick (it also trails down her back it seems):

but in-game it appears to be much slimmer and brown:

I have some faux fur which looks like a wolf pelt (grey), but I wonder if it's worth buying new, brown, faux fur for the job. Which do you think I should go for? :/
After staring at it for a while I've begun to think that the rim might be the rim of a hood, which would explain why it rises up the way it does. Even if I'm wrong I think I will make a hood for fun. X3

As a final note... anyone know how to make a bow? o.o'
This is what it looks like:

pretty much stuck on that atm. -_-' would love to avoid woodwork, seeing as I dont have any suitable workplace, but I dont know if thats possible. :/

Goodness, I didn't realize the workshop was already here, and with such great art already to! I love these workshops, can't wait to see everything.

@Tzu: I'd go for something more in line with the concept art because I think the ingame model looks kind of spiky, not quite realistic. If nothing else I think the grey pelt is a little more realistic if it's supposed to be a wolf pelt.

@Ravenhawk: It's already stunning, I cannot WAIT to see the finished piece.

My main issue right now is that I can't think of anything to draw though - or at least anything that is within my abilities to draw. But I'm going to do something!

@Tzu, When i look at that neck part in the concept art, there are only a few sources for that fur that come to mind, one is Grawl Neck Fur, an other is Dolyak Fur and the last would be bison, esp. when looking at the fullness of the fur (dont think there are other creatures on Tyria that are that furry - ofcourse it might be wolf fur, but then she have had to have killed the wolf during winter, but even then it looks way to full for wolf fur) ... most of these other sources are grey/white/brownish ... from the looks of the concept art, it feels more like an ornament piece attached to those two wolf ornaments infront of her neck; though it could well be a hood too, mainly as a pelt worn with the leather part on the outside ('as hood') while the furry inside keeps one warm ... Now, seeing i doubt you can find fake fur that is so long and full, i would go with the hood, and line it with fur, so that, as you said youself, when not on one's head, it will look quite similar as both the concept aswell as ingame fur.

I will draw and type you a guide to make a fake bow, you wont need much tools given you have a good knive and an small iron saw... and you are probably best to get your wood outof the forrest ...

Tzu, I definetely agree with Arghore on the wolf pelt. I think its a hood/cape attached to her chest.
As for the bow, you can always buy like flat piece of wood like 1x1m and 2 inches thick. Get a bowshape sawed out of it by a carpenter or whatever and polish it round yourself. Then you can use a knife to carve in it or you can put things on it with glue or something. That way you should be able to replicate it exactly. Don't know if this is too much work/costs too much but just trying to help.

By the way I really love the scales youve made for the arms!
